An Exceptional Terroir
Domaine des Conquêtes is a family estate run by Emilie and her brother Charles. This family of Champagne winemakers for four generations cultivates 13 hectares of vines on an exceptional terroir: Aniane. Located 30 km northwest of Montpellier, at the foot of the Cévennes foothills. The vineyard extends over terraces overlooking the Hérault Valley in the heart of Languedoc, made up of gravel and pebbles.
A Family Story
Philippe Ellner, passionate about the land and grandson of a winemaker, immediately sensed the potential of this exceptional terroir. Since childhood, Philippe has worked the vineyard with love and rigor; for him, there is no good wine without a beautiful plant and living soil. This artisan winemaker has succeeded in transposing all of his Champagne expertise into his Languedoc vineyard. He has passed on his passion and expertise to his children, who have been carrying on his work since 2008.
